Professional Development

It is my belief that learning is a lifelong process. As a language teacher, I believe that professional development is crucial because there is much more to master than just the language. There is always something to be done in order to be more efficient and effective. With this concept in mind, I started my second Master's degree in Teaching Foreign Language after work in January 2004. During the past three years, I have, not only confirmed and solidified my beliefs in language learning and teaching, but also reflected on my teaching from both a learner and a teacher¡¯s perspective.

I understand that teacher education is an ongoing process, and that I can never reach a point where my lesson plan or my teaching is perfect. There will always be room for improvement, and I truly believe that as long as my professional development continues in this fashion, my ideas will continue to evolve, and I will continue to grow as a teacher.
